UTStarcom deploys IPTV video adv. network in China

UTStarcom Inc. (UTSI.Nasdaq) announced that Guangxi Telecom Company Ltd, a wholly- owned subsidiary of China Telecom Corporation Ltd (0728.HK; CHA.NYSE) in South China's Guangxi, has chosen UTStarcom's RollingStream Internet Protocol TV (IPTV) platform to deploy a new interactive advertising system.
